Auction is for a C.P. GOERZ AMERICAN OPTICAL CO. APOCHROMAT ARTAR 30 INCH (750mm) f:12.5 BARREL LENS with mounting ring.
TOYO-VIEW 158mm Lens Board not included.  Included is a Goerz Leather Front Lens Cap and a Generic Leather Rear Lens Cap
.  The Glass is very clean and is multi-coated without scratches, although there are some minor cleaning wisps that will have no affect on performance and some dust.
This lens will mount into a Copal No 3 Shutter, with the loss of about 1 stop.  Check out S.K. Grimes website for more information.

over beyond 12X20 and would the perfect Long-Normal Lens for 12x20 ULF Cameras.
This is a vintage lens perhaps more than 60 years old, and as such is being
SOLD AS-IS
with no returns.
Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described.
A few General Comments about a Lens’ Condition:
What is the difference between a scratch in the glass of a lens and a hairline wipe mark? A scratch can be felt when you gently run a fingernail across it and a hairline wipe mark is only in the coating and cannot be felt. A scratch may refract light if it’s deep enough. A wipe mark won't.
Vintage means usable but not necessarily perfect optically, mechanically or cosmetically.
