Isco-Gottingen Westron 35mm f3.5 Manual Focus Lens, LTM39, Hazy, for Restoration

Description

Offered is a Isco-Gottingen (Germany) Westron wide angle lens, 35mm f3.5, manual focus, with the LTM39 rangefinder thread mount.  This lens has no rangefinder coupling; you have to scale focus it.  It focuses properly to infinity, tested on a Canon 7S camera with a ground glass insert at the film plane.
Condition:  The front element is perfect, with no cleaning marks.  There is haze between the two rearmost elements.  I was unable to remove the retaining ring for the rearmost element with my spanner ... I'll leave that to the new owner.  This haze will surely soften photos made with this lens, and also cause some internal flare.
The iris is oil-free and the diaphragm operates smoothly.  Barrel cosmetics are acceptable.  There's a 49mm > 52mm filter adapter ring screwed into the front of the lens; I could not remove this without risking damage to the lens.  All in all, a lens well worth restoration ... priced low accordingly.
