NIKON NIKKOR 8mm f/8.0 FISHEYE LENS FOR NIKON F, F2 - COLLECTIBLE

From my collection, this is the first commercially produced fisheye lens for 35mm cameras.  Not many were made and today they are quite uncommon.  They were designed to be used only on Nikon F and F2 bodies and the viewfinder will only mount on those two models.  Cosmetically, the lens looks like it's hardly ever been used.  The glass looks clean, it has four f-stops from 8 to 22 and there are six built-in filters.  This one comes complete with front and rear caps, viewfinder with front cap and leather case to hold all.  The front lens cap is aluminum and therefore can be a little fussy to screw on and the rear cap is plastic with the usual broken rails that would normally hold the viewfinder for storage in the case.  The caps show some normal wear, but nothing bad.
