Description
Offered is a late 1950s-era telephoto lens, a Tele-Picon 200mm f5.5 made by Piesker in Berlin, [West] Germany. This manual focus lens has the M42 thread mount, and a fully manual diaphragm with 13 blades. The barrel is satin chrome over (I believe) brass. The lens comes with a matching screw-in lens hood, as seen.Condition: Very light cleaning marks on the front element. No fungus, but light haze on the inner surface of the front element. Aperture blades are dry, and both f-stops and focus operate smoothly.
The last two photos on this listing were taken with this lens mounted with an M42/PK adapter on a Pentax full frame DSLR, at f5.5. This is a soft lens with low contrast, and some internal flare ... might be good for moody portrait work.
This lens looks sharp on a modern black camera - have a look at it on the K-1.
(Needless to say, the K-1 is NOT included in this sale).
