    Akron Diamond Double Mantle Lantern, This Model 107G lantern was made by the Akron Lamp Company of Akron Ohio. Akron made two verisons of their Model 107, one with a built-on pump and a pump built into the fount . The diamond cut-outs in the globe base are a symbol of Akron's Diamond brand. This lantern Has been Painted Green And Thought Possibly Because it Was Military But There Are No Other Marks On It Other Than That Of The Name Diamond Lamp Akron, O On The Gas Knob . It Has Its Original Mica Shade With Lots Of Wear And A Small Hole Or Two, But It’s Original Along With The Unique S Shaped Generator And Everything Else As Far As I Can Tell, Except I Could Not Find Any Painted Army Green So I Thought It Might Be For Military Use Or Was Painted By It’s Original Owner.
