Compugraphic Edit Writer wheel comes exactly as shown. Came from an estate sale and no one really knew what is was for (neither do I exactly) but just looks pretty cool. Additional info provided below is from a fellow ebayer as was stated in his own description and seems to know what is being talked about. All-in-all will be making for a nice piece of history if nothing else. If actual shipping is less than calculated then you'll receive a refund. Winning bidder pays S&H. Thanks and good luck!!
Compugraphic's most prolific product was the EditWriter, which could image onto photo paper up to 8 inches wide, could create type in sizes from 6 to 72 points by using 12 various fixed lenses mounted on an internal turret, and stored information on 8" floppy disks. Lenses are EDNALITE. Wheel rotates and has click stops at each lens. A printers tool for flashing different sizes of letters onto printing plate or production film.
