Vintage Miltar 10" 254 mm 35 mm Camera Lens General Scientific for Bell & Howell

Hello,
This is a vintage Miltar made by General Scientific Corp chicago, USA for Bell and Howell company, EFL10 in ( 254 mm) T4.9 ( f/4.5 ) 35 mm camera lens type V number E110 0. It uses 2 1/2" filter and is a size 8.
In picture number two you can see inside the lens and it does appear to be clear. Both caps are present.
In pictures number eight and picture number nine you can see on one side there is some scratches showing the black  underneath.
I believe this is from the 1940's or 1950's. It has not been tested with a camera.
It is sold as found. This is a large size of 10 ".
