Vintage Goerz Dagor 12 inch f/5.6 lens in Volute Shutter
For your consideration: Goerz Dagor 12" lens. Lens glass is clear; just needs a good cleaning. Aperture moves as it should. Aperture lever is missing the small knob, but movement is not affected. Shutter speed does move; works in "T" and "B" settings. The other shutter speeds do not operate as they should; they just open and close at approximately 1/50-1/100 sec. - even at the slow shutter speeds. Shutter speeds probably just need a good cleaning and some adjustment - other wise this is a nice lens. I didn't notice any separation or fungus/haze; optics do unscrew from shutter assembly easily. I used ROR for a quick clean to check optics. Lens does have the normal cleaning marks that accompany vintage lenses. I did not notice any chips or scratches; overall a nice lens.
